Our equipment is all set up in the new barn we constructed. We opened our doors on June 16, 2016, we have had a few hiccups along the way but continue to learn new techniques to serve our customer base.. We are honored to have so many new customers and our true passion is to deliver family farms with a beautiful end product. Currently wait time is approximately 4 months, we hope to cut this to This is one of the many reasons we decided to add a mill to our Alpaca Farm after find long waiting times at mills across the United States. In addition, we wanted to be able to provide small farms the ability to process small amounts of their fiber into a quality finished product, while still meeting the demands of any larger farm.
Our milling equipment was fabricated by Chuck McDermott from Stonehedge Fiber Milling Equipment in Michigan. We visited their milling operation and immediately knew their equipment was best suited for the fiber we wanted to be able to process for a wide range of farms. The equipment will be able to process fiber that is 3" - 11" in length including but not limited to alpaca (Huacaya and Suri) many types of sheep's wool, goat, rabbit, llama, buffalo and camel. As fiber enthusiasts we want you to get the best use of your fiber and we would love to help you find that perfect product for your farm. We our happy to consult with you on mixing/blending fibers.
